Origins of Higher Purpose
The origins of Higher Purpose trace back to 2004 and a call from the Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies (MAPS) to elevate public awareness around MDMA’s transformative potential. Charles and Shelley Wininger were among the first to answer, organizing events to foster open dialogue as perceptions of psychedelics began to evolve. Today, Higher Purpose is dedicated to offering safe, guided experiences that employ consciousness expanding modalities to empower individuals, couples, and groups on their journey of growth and connection.
